Discovering Romania: Peleș Castle, Dracula, and Medieval Brașov

Yesterday, I had the pleasure of accompanying a mother and her two children on an unforgettable trip to Brașov. The day started early, at 8:30 AM, when I picked them up from their hotel. The drive was relaxing and full of stories: we talked, laughed, and I explained in detail what they were going to see, sharing some interesting facts about the history of the places we visited.

The first stop was Sinaia, where we visited Peleș Castle. The family enjoyed the fairytale atmosphere and the beauty of the castle, admiring its architectural details and immaculate gardens. Afterward, we took the Sinaia gondola up to 2000 meters, where the mountain scenery left a deep impression. The children had a lot of fun on the mountain sled, experiencing the thrill of the descents and enjoying every moment in the snow.

The next stop was Bran Castle, famously known as Dracula’s home 😱. The castle fascinated the visitors, and the magical atmosphere was complemented by the castle bazaar, where they bought souvenirs.

The final part of the trip was in Brașov, where they enjoyed the unique mountain market and the charm of the medieval town. Even though I have visited the city many times, their reactions showed me just how impressive every corner is. At the end of the day, they told me that next time they would like a trip exclusively for Brașov, to fully enjoy everything the city has to offer.
